By accessing or using HushHall, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old and a current college or university student to create an account.
2. Anonymous Use
HushHall is designed for anonymous expression within college communities. While posts may be anonymous to other users, HushHall retains the ability to identify accounts in cases of illegal activity, abuse, or safety concerns. Anonymity is a feature, not a shield for harmful behaviour.
3. Prohibited Content
You may not post or send content that: (a) is illegal under Indian law; (b) threatens, harasses, or bullies another person; (c) contains sexual content involving minors; (d) promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech; (e) is deliberately false and defamatory; (f) violates another person's privacy or intellectual property rights. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension.
4. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share your credentials. Report compromised accounts to us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant HushHall a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
6. Service Availability
HushHall is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may modify or discontinue features at any time without liability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HushHall and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
